How can AI assistants be used meaningfully, reliably and in compliance with legal requirements in the higher education context? At the Bot Camp organised by Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HFD) and AI Campus, lecturers, university staff and experts address this question – collaboratively, in a practice-oriented manner and with a focus on concrete ideas for applications in everyday academic life.

The AI Campus partner platform offers lecturers the opportunity to assemble individual and target group-oriented learning opportunities from the entire AI Campus portfolio. We demonstrate how this works using the example of a course on AI in academic work. With this course, AI competences have been effectively integrated into key qualifications at DHBW.

From voice assistants and chatbots to automatic image recognition – artificial intelligence now accompanies pupils on a daily basis. But what competences do they need in order to handle AI confidently and responsibly? Guidance is provided by the forthcoming AI Literacy Framework from the European Commission and the OECD. A taskforce coordinated by Stifterverband has actively contributed feedback to the development process.
