Rules for comments and discussion forums on the AI Campus
These are our rules for comments or discussion forum posts on our pages.
Code of Conduct
- Please remain polite and objective.
- Be careful with humour and irony. Not every user has the same sense of it.
- Give your fellow participants helpful feedback.
Of course, posts and topics may arise in a forum from time to time that more or less contradict the guidelines. On the one hand, the aforementioned points are highly dependent on personal interpretation; on the other, no one is perfect.
The following will not be tolerated on the AI Campus
- Settling personal disputes in public
- "Trolling" and "flaming," i.e. publishing posts or topics designed to deliberately provoke strong negative or emotional reactions
- Spam, i.e. posts containing, for example, advertising content
- Harassment or threatening of other participants
- Offensive, threatening, insulting, defamatory, obscene, hateful or racist language
Depending on the severity, a violation of these rules can at least result in a warning or even a temporary or permanent exclusion from the platform.
Structure of your own forum posts
- Search first, then post. Many topics already exist. Avoid duplication by first using the search function.
- Stay on topic. In a factual topic, side remarks can certainly be made. However, such remarks should not be the main part of a post.
- Formulate your questions and answers precisely and clearly.
- Mention your sources if you quote or refer to other websites.
Choose meaningful titles when creating new discussion topics.
Enjoy learning on the AI Campus!
