AI literacy in schools: How AI competences become part of teaching
<p>From voice assistants and chatbots to automatic image recognition – artificial intelligence now accompanies pupils on a daily basis. But what competences do they need in order to handle AI confidently and responsibly? Guidance is provided by the forthcoming AI Literacy Framework from the European Commission and the OECD. A taskforce coordinated by Stifterverband has actively contributed feedback to the development process.</p>

AI in the Supermarket: Prototype for an Online Course
<p>Artificial intelligence can already make everyday work in the food retail sector easier. We – five students from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences – have developed a suitable online course together with the AI Campus. Employees in retail learn how to use AI-based systems in a stress-free, competent and enjoyable way. In this article, we show how a learning opportunity is created from a real-life problem, making technology accessible.</p>

AI competences for university administration: Responsible practice
With the increasing availability of AI tools, more and more staff in university administration are gaining access to artificial intelligence. A new online course on the AI Campus supports administrative teams in systematically learning how to use AI competently – regardless of their university’s level of technical advancement.
