Manfred Weigler has been working for the Dieter Schwarz Foundation (DSS) as a Project Manager, Science since 2015. He oversees various funding projects, including research work on personalised medicine/nutrition and endowed professorships at universities in Germany and abroad. In addition to 42 Heilbronn, he is responsible for the two research institutions Fraunhofer Institute and Ferdinand Steinbeis Institute on the Heilbronn education campus for the DSS. His current focus areas are "Digitalisation of the public sector" with GovTech Campus Deutschland e.V. and quantum computing. Manfred Weigler studied physical engineering at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences and later worked at the Steinbeis Foundation. Before joining DSS, he held senior positions in higher education for over 12 years.
