New publication: Agentic AI in the higher education system

Universities face the challenge of understanding developments in the field of agentic AI, evaluating them and considering them strategically.
In a new discussion paper, the AI Campus and the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HFD) offer initial guidance for institutions on how to deal with AI agents at universities.
It is aimed at staff and management
- in strategic administrative units,
- in central and decentralised administrations, and
- in teaching, learning, and didactics centres.
The authors Stefan Göllner, Lavinia Ionica, Christoph Meier, Malte Miram, Wanda Möller, Franziska Richter, and Andreas Sexauer wish to use the paper to stimulate the discussion on agentic AI within the higher education system and help to better assess the opportunities and risks of its various areas of application.
