AIÖV – AI in public administrations
KIÖV vividly demonstrates the potential that artificial intelligence offers in the public sector. The course is aimed at all employees of public administration who wish to find out more about the use of AI in their professional environment.
Overview
This course offers practical insights into the use of Artificial Intelligence in public administration. Application examples are provided and the role of AI in digital transformation is explained. In addition, fundamental concepts such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI are taught, as well as the legal framework – such as the AI Act – is discussed. The course also examines the benefits and challenges of explainable AI (XAI) and machine learning in the public sector.

- Describe the legal framework for AI-based decisions and risk levels of AI systems (e.g. EU AI Act).
