Overview
This online course is offered by the State Medical Council (LÄK) of Baden-Württemberg as continuing medical education (CME) for female and male doctors. You can register and access the course via the State Medical Association by clicking the View offer button. Registration with the LÄK Baden-Württemberg is required.
In this interactive learning opportunity, you will learn important fundamentals about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) works and its possible applications in medicine. After a brief historical classification of AI within the field of computer science, you will find out more about data (and data standards) as well as their value for the development of AI methodology. This is followed by a closer look at the two key subfields of computer science—machine learning and deep learning—using clear examples from a medical context. The online course introduces key terms and concepts intended to create a basic understanding for engaging with the topic of AI.
