Angela Schmitz is Professor of Mathematics at the Faculty of Process Engineering, Energy and Mechanical Systems at TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences. She teaches mathematics, including in the context of data literacy and numerics, and conducts research on issues of mathematics education.

Dr Joana Grah studied mathematics at the University of Münster, obtained her PhD in applied mathematics at the University of Cambridge, UK, and worked as a research assistant at the Alan Turing Institute in London, UK, at TU Graz, Austria, and at HHU Düsseldorf. She is currently a research associate in the field of "Image Analysis" at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Research at the Robert Koch Institute. Her expertise is in mathematical image processing, methods of AI, inverse problems, optimisation and variational methods.

Dr. Susanne Podworny is a research associate in the Didactics of Mathematics working group at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Paderborn.
