Lasse Kohlmeyer is the project manager of the AI Service Centre Berlin Brandenburg at Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Engineering. Prior to this role, he gained experience in IT consulting as a software and data engineer. He holds degrees in computer science, creative writing & cultural journalism, and data engineering.

The AI Service Center's mission is to reduce barriers to the independent development of AI applications in business and society. To this end, it offers infrastructure, training opportunities, and advisory services to provide support regardless of organizational form: in training AI models, trying out and understanding AI applications, hardware procurement issues, and implementing specific AI use cases.
