Eddy Shyu is product manager at DeepLearning.AI, and has led the teams that built the Machine Learning Specialization (featuring Andrew Ng), TensorFlow Advanced Techniques (featuring Laurence Moroney), as well as the Natural Language Processing Specialization, and AI for Medicine Specialization. Eddy was also co-instructor for Udacity's AI for Trading Nanodegree program.
Amirhossein Kiani is Curriculum Engineer at deeplearning.ai.
I am currently a product manager at viaduct.ai, a startup providing machine learning solutions for connected vehicles. Before that, I worked at deeplearning.ai as the head teaching assistant for the AI for Medicine Specialization, available on Coursera. In college, I worked as a research assistant at the Stanford ML Group, publishing research at the intersection of AI and Medicine. I received my M.S. in Computer Science in March 2020 and my B.S. in Mathematics in June 2019, both from Stanford University.
Pranav Rajpurkar is driven by a fundamental passion for building reliable artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for biomedical decision making. His lab approaches biomedical problems with a computational lens, developing AI algorithms, datasets, and interfaces that cut across computer vision, natural language processing, and structured health data. He has collaborated with clinicians across medical specialties, including radiology, cardiology, and pathology, to make some of the first demonstrations of expert-level deep learning algorithms and their effects on clinician decision making. Previously, Dr. Rajpurkar received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, all in Computer Science from Stanford University.
His lab’s current research directions include algorithm development for limited labeled data settings, high-quality dataset curation at scale, and the design of effective clinician-AI collaboration setups.
Dr. Andrew Ng is a globally recognized leader in AI (Artificial Intelligence). He is Founder of DeepLearning.AI, Founder & CEO of Landing AI, General Partner at AI Fund, Chairman and Co-Founder of Coursera and an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University’s Computer Science Department.
As a pioneer in machine learning and online education, Dr. Ng has changed countless lives through his work in AI, and has authored or co-authored over 200 research papers in machine learning, robotics and related fields. In 2013, he was named to the Time 100 list of the most influential persons in the world.
