AI_VET III – AI as Content in Vocational Education

In this course, you will deepen your knowledge of AI as a learning topic in vocational education. From a macro perspective, you will address the changes in the world of work brought about by digitalisation and AI. On the micro level, you will look at Industry 4.0 and application scenarios for AI in various company departments. Other key topics include the ethical and regulatory areas of tension associated with AI, as well as the significance of AI for Vocational Education 4.0.

Upon completion of the course:

• you will know the significance of artificial intelligence in business and the world of work
• you will be able to explain the concept of Industry 4.0 and be familiar with further applications of AI in companies
• you will be able to critically reflect on the ethical and data protection challenges posed by the use of AI, and recap the key arguments in the debate
• you will know which domain-specific requirements the use of artificial intelligence brings for vocational education and be familiar with the areas for development in “Vocational Education 4.0”
