Overview
In the online course, you as (prospective) teachers will delve into the topic of "Data" and discover how you can teach its significance in a playful way within a school context. You will learn what data is and what it is used for. You will collect data and work with it according to the Data Cycle.
You will try out methods for lesson planning so that your students can recognise concrete connections to their own everyday lives and see the relevance of the subject area for themselves in a variety of contexts. For engaging with the topic leads to a more conscious approach. Only by understanding the technical fundamentals and their interrelations is it possible to make use of them autonomously.
The course is aimed primarily at student teachers and teachers of non-scientific subjects and enables them to integrate the topic into their teaching for lower and upper secondary school pupils.
